Gap have been forced to take an item of children's fashion of their shelves after it emerged it was made in a sweatshop which uses child labour. The young girl’s smock top was produced by a New Delhi sweatshop where children as young as 10 were being forced to make the garment.
The news will be a blow to Gap's reputation which only recently managed to recover from allegations of child labour in the late 1990s.
With all this issue keep on happening, Gap should do more to prevent child exploitation.
